World Poetry – World Stories where you will have a great opportunity to hear
poetry and verses spoken in nine different languages.
Have you ever heard 3,500 years
old Sanskrit words?
Have you ever heard Nobel-prize
winner Pablo Neruda’s poetry recited?
Have you ever heard the sounds of
Thai spoken?
Have you known the differences
between Japanese Haiku and Tanka?
These are just a few examples of what you will hear at this
event. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the
sounds and intonation of diverse languages and expressions throughout the
world.
